The Tre Rane Restaurant serves sophisticated Tuscan inspired cuisine with a contemporary touch centered on seasonal local produce from sea and land. The restaurant is named after a legend about Renaissance genius Leonardo da Vinci. It is said that, in the late fifteenth century, the Young Leonardo, who was studying under Verrocchio at the time, came up with the idea of opening an inn on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence with his friend, Sandro Botticelli. Known as Le Tre Rane (“The Three Frogs” in English), the concept was that food and wine could be regarded as a form of art and beauty for everyone.
