Since 1990 Gerist has been working in Fortezza, Palazzo Affari and Congressi as the sole right catering company, organizing the food and beverage for congress events, trade fair activities and business meetings. Since 2018 Gerist has been managing the new cafeteria in the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.

Gerist is able to combine quality of service with the particular needs of different clients with catering points located in strategic locations in the different exhibition facilities, including a la carte restaurants, self-service restaurants, and snack bars. 

This experience led to "Dettagli", a brand specialized in quality banqueting with 2 production sites, Bologna and Florence where the difference,you know, is in Details. Dettagli is the official Partner of Bologna F.C. 1909 and manages all the hospitality services at the Stadium Dall' Ara (Bo) and at the Technical Center of Casteldebole (Bo), as well as providing exclusive catering services at the Palazzo della Borsa, renewed seat of the Chamber of Commerce of Florence and the Palazzo  Congressi of Bologna.
